Corbin, our teams Chief Operation Officer, reviewed the agenda with everyone in attendance before the start of the video.
As we waited for additional materials to be purchased from our local hardware store, we started our field layout. We measured and added tape lines around our field to label where completed field elements will be placed.
Students lead subgroups and created shared documentation to review the FRC 2026 game manual. The emphasis was centered around identifying how we accomplish the following tasks:

Subassemblies broke off into groups to do rapid prototyping, as well as groups splitting off to work on building the field
Students built a hopper using cardboard stock we had in the lab.
Students built a shooter prototype and started testing different wheel types.
Base was assembled and wiring started making connections.
Field build started to cut parts to make large assemblies.
We were able to complete most of the field markings.
Field build made great progress today, they were able to make the hub, bumps, trenches, and the human player station, and are working on the tower.

Subassembly leads met with mentors and went over robot designs , some intital strategies, and created a Needs, Wants, and Wishes list
The juniors started working on the kitbot and got pretty far. All the components are built, and the next thing is to attach everything to the base and start wiring.
